Anniversary And/Or Other Special Events

We arrange for a speaker during every general meeting after our board meeting.
During the summer months (June-Aug) we organize local garden tours instead of our regular indoor general meeting.
Our yearly plant sale is held on the third Saturday in May (Victoria Day long weekend).
On the 1st Saturday in June, we rent a table during Edisonfest in Vienna to sell the remaining unsold plants from the
earlier plant sale.
Our AGM is held during the last meeting of the year on the 3rd Monday in November.

Society/Club Volunteer HoursThe volunteer hours we spend illustrates how valuable we are in our communities and across Ontario. As an analytical tool, volunteer hours can also be used to determine where time is being spent within a Society/Club, District, or organization which helps us make important decisions on programs, fundraising, and budget. For instance, horticultural Society/Club members volunteered 445,387 hours in 2024!
