GTBS sells large size and exotic amaryllis and hardy spring-flowering bulbs each fall.

Highlights

7 meetings–6 in person; one on Zoom. Attendance averaged 25 to 35. Speakers’ topics: botanical gardens; bulbs of South Africa; Siberian Irises; climbers; successes/failures in growing bulbs; ornamental grasses and sedges. July potluck “picnic” in our President’s garden. 73 members, the same as 2024. Outreach: donation to the TBG for spring bulbs; spring bulbs for library gardens at Kew Gardens and Main Street, and for Riverdale Hort’s garden in Withrow Park. Fundraising: sale of amaryllis, hardy spring bulbs, and member-donated plants.
