We hold a special "Members' Appreciation Night" at our final meeting in November each year to thank our members for their continued support of our Hort in so many ways.
Membership pins are given to those who have achieved continued membership in our Society for a period of 10 years or more.
Our members enjoy socializing with each other as well as the delicious refreshments on hand.

Fundraisers

At our Plant Sales we have added a Rummage Sale component as well.

Donations of items include Electronics, toys, household items, gently used clothing, as well as many other items.

Adding this component is a great way to recycle the above items.

At the end of the Rummage sale, the clothing was donated to a local B'nai Brith clothing exchange. All others items were donated to the
Salvation Army outlet in Thornhill..

Highlights

Our Board of Directors & members volunteered for, participated in, and enjoyed our many activities throughout 2025r.

These included monthly meetings with great speakers, 2 Plant & Rummage Sales, a "Poppy" Remembrance Day Ceremony and judging front gardens and distributing signs to winners in our Front Garden Recognition Programme..
