We continued to have a very successful fundraiser selling Worm Castings to avid gardeners who appreciate the quality and effectiveness of the product. We are only able to continue this activity with the help of several dedicated organizers (two who been with us since the beginning) and many more who help on sale days. Most of our customers are repeat customers and are often our best promoters.

In addition to six expert speakers through the year, Lorraine Johnson on "A Gardener's Reflection" and Paul LaPorte on "Tracing the Roots of Native Plants" spoke on native plants from two totally different perspectives. Fascinating and educating!
After many years of promising, the City of Toronto finally provided a source of water for our Withrow Park gardening group to maintain our community garden in the park. We are now nine very happy gardeners.
We also continue of offer hybrid meetings at a majority of our ten meetings a year.
