We had a community sponsor who contributed a large cheque in recognition of our 70th Anniversary . We organized our usual Spring and Fall
Plant sale as well as our Spring Book Sale.

Highlights

EAHS had a great year . Tricia Darley was voted in as our new President. Our Board undertook our 70th Anniversary Year with renewed energy. Along with our usual contribution to Shaw Woods for their youth education program, we also took a lead role in Seedy Sunday. Our summer planting program expanded and now include winter greenery, Remembrance Day poppies, and Valentine's and St. Patrick's Day decorations.
The purchase of new audio-visual equipment now allows our members to view speakers' presentations on a large screen with better acoustics.

Society/Club Volunteer HoursThe volunteer hours we spend illustrates how valuable we are in our communities and across Ontario. As an analytical tool, volunteer hours can also be used to determine where time is being spent within a Society/Club, District, or organization which helps us make important decisions on programs, fundraising, and budget. For instance, horticultural Society/Club members volunteered 445,387 hours in 2024!
