Fundraisers

We have a large plant sale in mid-May. Afterwards, we continue to sell the remaining plants at other venues for about two months.

Highlights

This year we designed and planted a native plant garden at the Westwood Public Library. In June we had a fantastic bus tour to Guelph Arboretum with a picnic lunch and a stop at a garden centre. Our plant sale in May was extraordinary and well attended by the community. Our speaker series that takes place at all of our meetings was well attended and received.

Society/Club Volunteer HoursThe volunteer hours we spend illustrates how valuable we are in our communities and across Ontario. As an analytical tool, volunteer hours can also be used to determine where time is being spent within a Society/Club, District, or organization which helps us make important decisions on programs, fundraising, and budget. For instance, horticultural Society/Club members volunteered 445,387 hours in 2024!
