Fundraisers

The Towns receiving Beautification donations are very appreciative. Annual Plant sale in May 2025 was successful, raising $1746.75. Our Club is consistent with donating beautiful flowers for our plant sale which enables us to only need to have one fundraiser per year.

Highlights

We enjoyed great Speakers during our 2025 garden club meetings, including some of our own Members who shared their interests and experiences. We gained 21 new members through various educational pamphlets and our Media presence. Our Executive and Board of Directors have added new members who bring a wealth of experience. Our Flower Shows have been a huge success with alot of Novice entries. We changed the format of our Photo Show to encourage more participation. Our efforts to upgrade our administrative technology is working well.

Society/Club Volunteer HoursThe volunteer hours we spend illustrates how valuable we are in our communities and across Ontario. As an analytical tool, volunteer hours can also be used to determine where time is being spent within a Society/Club, District, or organization which helps us make important decisions on programs, fundraising, and budget. For instance, horticultural Society/Club members volunteered 445,387 hours in 2024!
