Highlights

Last year was our 100th Anniversary Year, we celebrated all year long. We started with a Victorian Tea Party and invited 72 people to attend. It was a huge success. We also planted a Tree at the Cenotaph to mark our 100th Anniversary and we also added a plaque in honour of the 100th Anniversary.

We sold tickets for a Quilt made locally and donated. We had a fundraising Silent Auction that was also successful.

We helped the Parks Department plant Town flower beds and volunteered at the gardens at the Cancer Support Centre.

Society/Club Volunteer HoursThe volunteer hours we spend illustrates how valuable we are in our communities and across Ontario. As an analytical tool, volunteer hours can also be used to determine where time is being spent within a Society/Club, District, or organization which helps us make important decisions on programs, fundraising, and budget. For instance, horticultural Society/Club members volunteered 445,387 hours in 2024!
