| Anniversary And/Or Other Special Events | We co-hosted another successful Seedy Saturday on March 8, 2025 with two neighbouring Horticultural Societies. We had lots of attendees with various vendors promoting Horticulture and its products. We always gain a few new members from this. This is a community event and people enjoy attending it. We also held our plant sale selling plants from our gardens. This again draws a lot of community interest, gaining a few more members as well. | ||||||||

| Fundraisers | Our only fundraiser this year was our May plant sale. We sold many plants, gained a few new members and community interest and support was high. | ||||||||
| Highlights | Our past year went well. We welcomed great speakers sharing their knowledge of interesting topics. We averaged 35-40 people per meeting. Our two flower shows had increased interest and participation. We enjoyed co-hosting another Seedy Saturday. Growing our own food and flowers is very popular, drawing lots of interest. Our two community gardens were cared for by our members. Community response to the well kept appearance of our gardens was noted and appreciated. | ||||||||

| Society/Club Volunteer Hours | The volunteer hours we spend illustrates how valuable we are in our communities and across Ontario. As an analytical tool, volunteer hours can also be used to determine where time is being spent within a Society/Club, District, or organization which helps us make important decisions on programs, fundraising, and budget. For instance, horticultural Society/Club members volunteered 445,387 hours in 2024! Entry Instructions: | ||||||||
