Anniversary And/Or Other Special Events

Plans are underway for our 2026 lineup of engaging speakers and topics, our annual plant sale, member outings, outreach events, and Q&A sessions with the Master Gardeners at each meeting. This year’s programming features presentations on invasive species and native habitat management, garden design, Carnivorous Plants, vertical gardening, lichen and current phragmite research.
To meet the growing need for accredited flower judges, members are offering to host the first of several judges’ training classes at Canadore College. We will continue to design and maintain the YMCA flower beds, collaborate with Canadore College and Nipissing University to plant campus gardens for convocations, and care for the lilac bed at the North Bay Heritage Gardens along our beautiful waterfront.
To keep members informed and connected, we share regular updates on OHA, District, Society, and local gardening events. Our Facebook page and website help keep the members and wider community engaged.
