2025 BGC celebrated its 100th Anniversary with a couple of key events which accounted for substantial volunteer hours to ensure of their success. In April we co-partnered with the Grafton HS (also celebrating its 100th) in hosting District 4 AGM in Brighton. In June we hosted a 100th Anniversary Garden Party held in Memorial Park open to the community with speakers, vendors, tea garden, displays, children activities, plant & book sale etc.
An article was written by two of our life members for the Beacon magazine outlining our historical history.
We continued to partner with Brighton Library Seedy Sat, showcased our club with a booth at the Warkworth Lilac Festival & Codrington Farm Day.
Members were able to do a day trip to Parkwood Gardens in Oshawa.

Both our main fundraising events of Plant Auction and Plant Sale continued to provide with a good source of revenue.

Additional funds were raised via silent auction at District AGM we jointly hosted and a plant & book sale at the 100th Anniversary Garden Party.
