Annual fertilizer sale - Bath Gardening Club is well known for its unique blend of all natural fertilizer, Fritz Mix. In early May volunteers get together to mix the ingredients and use biodegradable bags, many of which have been pre-sold. This year 610 bags of fertilizer were sold.

Sunday Market in Bath - Bath Gardening Club hosts the weekly market located in Centennial Park North in Bath. The Sunday market operates from May to mid October and continues to grow. The market is promoted through signage, social media and kids activities. Live music is also an attraction. Our Market Manager takes vendor registration, including insurance and Code of Conduct, and assigns each vendor a location.

Highlights

Bath Garden Club celebrated its 35th anniversary and created its own logo.

We refurbished our Pollinator Garden and Memorial Grove. Pollinator friendly gardens were created in the Memorial Grove and a brand new garden bed surround, built from whole white-cedar trunks set in a bed of gravel, was installed around the Pollinator Garden.

It was a rewarding season for the Sunday Market in Bath which is hosted by Bath Garden Club. Records were broken in attendance, vendor participation and money raised on behalf of the Bath Garden Club.

Society/Club Volunteer HoursThe volunteer hours we spend illustrates how valuable we are in our communities and across Ontario. As an analytical tool, volunteer hours can also be used to determine where time is being spent within a Society/Club, District, or organization which helps us make important decisions on programs, fundraising, and budget. For instance, horticultural Society/Club members volunteered 445,387 hours in 2024!
