Oro-Medonte Horticultural Society
District 16
Our meeting in March is via Zoom, all other meetings are In Person.
The objectives of the Oro-Medonte Horticultural Society are as follows:
l. To encourage an interest in all branches of horticulture.
2. To promote and implement civic beautification.
3. To encourage planting trees, shrubs and flowers in our municipality.
4. To stimulate and support youth interest in horticulture.
5. To promote the circulation of horticultural information.
6. To promote protection of the environment through practice, lectures and any other suitable means.
We are a friendly group, over 1451 in number. Our meetings are interesting, informative and we have a great group of volunteers who do everything from baking delicious mouthwatering treats for the general meetings, to digging up extra perennial plants in your beds (if you wish)and potting plants for our annual plant sale and maintaining 8 Township and Park gardens.
Consider volunteering to get involved with the Society.
