Grace Moores has been an active member of the Milton and District Horticultural Society for the past 10 years,
passionately contributing to the local gardening community. She has been involved with the Sunny Mount
Community Garden since its inception on in 2016 and has served as chairperson since 2021. Under her leadership,
the garden expanded to include an additional 55 plots, making it more accessible to gardening enthusiasts.
Grace has implemented several initiatives as chairperson, including the establishment of donation plots, a
buddy system to foster collaboration on among gardeners, and organizing annual potlucks and growing
competitions that promote community spirit.
Please provide a brief description of your qualifications, skills and/or experience
In addition to her dedication to gardening, Grace is a wife, proud mom to two teenagers and an owner of a
rescue dog from Texas. She is also one of the business owners of RevoltionHER, an organization that promotes
and empowers women lead businesses through their online and retail stores.
