Why join us?? Whether you are a novice or a seasoned gardener you will always be assured a warm welcome! Access to Master Gardeners that can provide expert information and advice. Monthly quest speakers featuring horticultural related topics. Ambassador Horticultural Society LaSalle provide scholarships which are awarded to two graduating St. Clair College students, who are further pursuing horticultural careers. Monetary donations are given to several local schools to help with their horticultural activities. Tulips and daffodil bulbs are given to schools, churches and the LaSalle Culture & Recreation Department to be used for the Town of LaSalle beautification program. Our society's annual plant sale generates funds that are put towards donations to the LaSalle Food Bank and the purchase of benches for the Town of LaSalle. Trillium awards are presented annually to nominated LaSalle property owners whose front yards enhance our enjoyment of our community.

Yearly membership fee: $15/family, $10/person

Ambassador Horticultural Society LaSalle general meetings convene every third Tuesday of the month, during September, October, November, January, February, March, April, May and June. There are no meetings in December, July and August.
Meetings start at 7 pm.

Our objectives include the promotion and stimulation of the theory and practice of horticulture. Encouragement of the planting of trees, shrubs and flowers in public and private grounds. Distribution of plants, flowers, tree, shrubs and bulbs. Promoting the benefits of therapeutic horticulture. Interest youth and others in the study of horticulture in the schools. Participate in projects towards the beautification of the Town of LaSalle.
