Paris Horticultural Society

District 6

About Us

Welcome to the Paris Horticultural Society. We are affiliated with the Ontario Horticultural Association (Garden Ontario) and District Six of the OHA. The current Paris Horticultural Society was founded in 1986 and is a non-profit volunteer organization.
Our objectives are to encourage interest in horticulture and to promote the protection of the environment.
We welcome beginners and expert gardeners to our society. Our monthly meetings provides interesting and educational quest speakers. Throughout the year we conduct plant sales, garden tours, excursions, flower shows and much more.
The society maintains the Paris Cenotaph Gardens and the Garden of Hope and conduct various public plantings consisting or perennials, shrubs and trees through out the Paris area. We also support a Adopt-a-Road Program and award a annual bursary to the Paris High School to assist graduating students to study horticulture or environment courses.
As a member you will receive a free monthly newsletter, discounts at many garden centres in the area and to the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG).
If you enjoy gardening, you are invited to join us at our monthly meetings. Visitors are always welcome.
