Elora and Salem Horticultural Society

District 7

About Us

The Elora and Salem Horticultural Society is celebrating it's 173rd year, making us one of the oldest continuously operating societies in the province. We thank our enthusiastic membership for their perseverance in making this a reality.

Come on out and join us. It is very rewarding to be able to participate in the beautification of our community through the planting and maintenance of select community flower beds. Some of the perks of a membership are the opportunities to share gardening stories with other gardeners, or to share some of our over achieving and prized plants.

We also offer an annual Student Bursary, and hold an Annual Spring Plant Sale.

NEW exciting update for 2023!!!...Our monthly garden related meetings will be held in person once again. Masks are strongly recommended while inside.
Become a member if you haven't already. Learn from the experience of knowledgeable guest speakers. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or a beginner, there is something for everyone.

Happy Gardening!
