Oro-Medonte Horticultural Society Garden Tour – cancelled

Our country garden tour will be held in the Shanty Bay area. The gardens are varied and offer waterfront views, bird lover’s haven, shade gardens, terraced gardens, vegetable gardens, pools, a very effective use of artificial turf, and so much more. Each garden shows solutions to unique challenges. Gardens will have yellow and green balloons and a Welcome to My Garden sign. Simcoe County boasts several incredible natural habitats, from wetlands to woodlands, pasturelands to rocklands, each with a unique floral community. David (naturalist, photographer, and news columnist) takes us on a pictorial tour of our county, with intimate visits to each of these special wild places to discover some of the legends and lore of our wildflowers.
