Good gardens start with great soil – learn how to make your own compost to add to your gardens. This hands-on workshop “Intro to Home Composting” by Mary Beerman will cover thermal, vermiculture and cold composting. Included: intro to the soil food web, soil microbial communities, microscope evaluation, thermal compost production and much more.
Mary Beerman, MA Environment & Sustainability and a Soil Food Web & Native Plant Specialist has been teaching and working in the field for over 8 years. A great opportunity to learn from someone in the know within a small group size to allow for personal attention and direction.
