Schomberg Hortitcultural Society – Ken Brown – “Flowers from Seed”
March 26 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Petunias, Impatiens, Marigolds, Sunflowers, Lobelia and in most parts of the country, Geraniums, are annual flowers. Annual will give a colourful show of flowers all season long while most perennials have two to three week bloom period. If you want a continuous, bright, colourful show in your garden all summer and fall then choose your colour and height and there is an annual flower ready to provide it. Ken will share his knowledge of where to grow them, how big they get, as well as what is new and good this coming year.
No flower show but we are having a bake-off: Squares, breads and savories will be judged by members. Pizza night, come early.
Free to Members. $ 5.00 at door for non-members.
