Amherstburg Fort Malden Horticultural Society (AFMHS)

Established in 1906 the AFMHS makes its home in historic Amherstburg on the Detroit River. We are an active organization providing learning experiences for all levels of gardeners. Our activities include a Monday Night Gardening Group, Monthly meetings with interesting speakers, an Annual Plant Sale, a Bi-annual Garden Tour, Rhododendron assistance in our Navy Yard Park and Deck the Planters in November. We also provide scholarship awards and Annual Trillium Awards. Our members also enjoy discounts at participating garden centres.

Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. No meetings in December, January, February and March. Summer meetings going through to September have been added

November meeting -includes a Christmas Potluck Dinner & Annual Meeting/Elections
