All monthly meetings and the November Potluck have been cancelled until further notice. Stay healthy friends, until we meet again.

Let's Tree Wilmot
Many organizations in Wilmot Township have joined together in an effort to add more trees to the township. Trees have a multitude of benefits to all living animals and plants. These trees will be put on both Township and private properties. If you would like to donate to this important, environmental cause, please send a cheque to:

We are a vibrant, friendly group who love to explore anything and everything about gardening, nature and environmental stewardship. Whether you have a green or black thumb, are a novice, experienced or master gardener, we all have much to learn and share. Join WHS and take some time to grow with us.

As a very active group we offer:
> Monthly meetings with informative speakers
> Gardeners' Show and Share plus a Youth Competition
> Civic Beautification (planting and looking after community gardens around the township)
> Junior Gardeners' Program
> Annual Garden Explosion with a full day of speakers, exhibitors, lunch, laughter and time to relax with old and new friends
> 10% Discount at Colour Paradise, Meadow Acres and Heritage Pet and Garden (garden items only) with a membership

Bring a friend to the free meetings.

Cancelled Jr. Gardeners' Awards and Wildlife Rescue with Deb Lehman and Joy Huggins of Wildlife Haven Wed. Sept. 16, 2020 7:00 pm Wilmot Rec. Complex Come and see some of the wonderful work of our Junior Gardeners. There is also a penny auction which helps to support our amazing Junior Gardeners. Please bring a plant, flower or photo to share with us. Then learn how to help wild animals that need help and know which ones do not need help.
Cancelled Ornamentals and Edibles in the Victorian Age with Wendy Shearer Mon. Oct. 5, 2020 7:00 pm Wilmot Rec. Complex Join Wendy, a landscape architect and Cultural Heritage Specialist who was involved in the garden renovations of Castle Kilbride and Dundurn Castle as she speaks about the gardens and plants of Victorian times.
Cancelled Christmas Program Potluck Dinner with Michael Kelly Cavan Mon. Nov. 9, 2020 6:00 pm Wilmot Rec. Complex Enjoy Michael's melodic tenor voice and gentle wit as he sings, plays and tells stories which provide heartwarming and foot-tapping entertainment.
