Wilmot Horticultural Society

District 19

About Us

Are you a new gardener who likes digging in the dirt? Would you like to learn more about gardening and looking after the environment? Maybe you want to share your joy of gardening with others in the community who feel the same way. Then you should join Wilmot Horticulture.

Our volunteers design and plant garden beds on civic property throughout Wilmot and are involved in community projects through Civic Gardens. Let’s Tree Wilmot is a new but very successful project in partnership with Wilmot Township. Hundreds of trees are being planted in Wilmot’s parks and on private land with the help of community volunteers; Project, Policy and Education Committees are all actively involved. Our Junior Gardeners had a record 36 participants in 2021, planting their own gardens with seeds provided by the society.

We hope to begin meeting in person again, but in the mean time our other projects will continue.

See below for how to join!

GOOD NEWS - Wilmot Hort has a Facebook page with garden tips, videos, amazing photos, announcements and more! Take a look... by clicking https://www.facebook.com/groups/3133495739996313
