Delhi & District Horticultural Society was originally founded in 1920 and was re-organized in 1982 after several years of inactivity.
The Dogwood is our Society's flower.
Membership includes an annual newsletter and 10% off plant sales at several local garden centres.
Our objectives are to promote the protection of the environment and to encourage an interest in horticulture by promoting youth and community involvement.
Our meetings include a knowledgeable and interesting guest speaker, brief business meeting and refreshments and fellowship.

Our meetings are normally held the 2nd Monday, September to May - 1st Monday in June and 3rd Monday in October at 7:30 p.m. at the Delhi Friendship Centre.
There are no meetings held in July and August. Members of the Society plant the flower beds at the Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre during the 1st Monday in June and provide weekly maintenance through to the first hard frost.
You are welcome to attend one of our monthly meetings as our guest free of charge. Then if you wish to purchase a membership, our membership fee is $10.00 per person. This membership includes interesting and informative monthly guest speakers, 10% off plant sales at several local garden centers much, much more.
