Arthur & District Horticultural Society

District 7

About Us

The Arthur Horticultural Society has been a chartered Organization with the Ontario Horticultural Society since 1918. Arthur is located north of Fergus at the Junction of Hwy 6 and 9.

Our Society flower is the Purple Aster.

We maintain three flower beds at the Cenotaph park, as well as the flower beds that welcome you into Arthur from the north and south. We take care of nine concrete planters around town, as well.
We hold plant sales to raise funds to keep our public gardens fresh and lovely.
And we continue to learn by having speakers and going on field trips.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us keep up with the garden work. Please join us!
