District 16
Please see the calendar for information about our March 2021 meeting by ZOOM.
PANDEMIC UPDATE: Thank you for your interest in the Creemore Horticultural Society. Please note we also have a group on
Facebook.
As you are well-aware, the ever-evolving situation around the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the announcement of critically important restrictions by the Ontario government to try to bring it under control.
Until those restrictions are lifted and it is safe for us all to gather together, the Board of Directors will not schedule any in-person meetings or events. This is for the safety and health of our membership and our community. Watch this page for announcements of online events—and when we can do so safely, events where we can gather together to celebrate our gardening passions.
Now is the time to be dreaming of your garden, making your plans to re-engage with mother nature and bring beauty to life. Gardening is good for you physically and mentally so indulge yourself as often as you can. Please help others to dream by sharing your ideas, practical advice for gardening, and inspirational images with this page.
Please stay home and stay safe—and wear a mask in public, wash or sanitize your hands (again) and don't touch your face!
Creemore Horticultural Society has been part of the Creemore community since 1921. We are a friendly group of gardeners who, in normal times, meet on a regular basis to have a good time with like-minded people while learning about gardening and nature, working in community gardens, or participating in various special events such as flower shows, a plant sale, and more. You are ALWAYS welcome to our meetings and to public events. No experience or education is needed to join us—all you need is an interest in growing plants, either vegetables or ornamentals. COME GROW WITH US!
Please note that clicking on the pink Donate button (above) will result in a donation to the Ontario Horticultural Association, NOT to Creemore Horticultural Society. Please email CreemoreHort@gmail.com for donation instructions.
