“Designing a Cottage Yard in your (Sub)Urban Yard” Martin Ford & Judy Roeder “The Pocket Woodlands Design concept was developed by Martin Ford, a third-generation horticulturist, former University of Guelph instructor and co-founcer of Urban Cottage Landscapes in Guelph, ON, with his wife and business partner, Judy Roeder.
"Amazing Cacti and Succulents" Judy is a Horticultural and Design Judge with a specific interest in cacti and succulents. Judy will talk about some of her favourites in this group of plants and give hints on growing exceptional show worth specimens.

Woolwich Gardeners presents speaker DJ Hanna “Butterfly Rangers and Pollinator Gardens” Location: St. James Lutheran Church, 60 Arthur St. S., Elmira, ON N3B 2M9 (Wyatt St. entrance) Date is Monday April 17 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Free-will donation for non-members Open to the public! “Lug a Mug” for refreshments and treats.
Regular meeting with guest speaker Dr. Michael McTavish on topic Controlling Invasives (plants such as phragmites and garlic mustard). Doors open at 7 pm, meeting starts at 7:30 pm. Guest fee is $5 per person.
