Guest speaker: Paul Laporte- Tracing the Roots of Native Plants Numerous plant fossils are examined to provide an introduction to the evolution of plants from the Cambrian Period to the present. Focus is placed ob native Ontario flora and how they came to flourish in the area.

Join us for our annual plant sale! Shop our wide selection of perennials, berry bushes, small trees, and vegetable plants. May 20, 2023 8 am to noon. You can find us at The Brentwood Community Centre 9926 County Rd 10 (if using GPS or Googe Maps you will need to use New Lowell, Ontario).
Before each flower show we host a floral design workshop where we'll make one of the designs for our flower show. Any society member is welcome to attend. There is no cost but you must bring your own material. Pre-registration is required. Email tvbosley@gmail.com for more details.
Our speaker will be Christine March, a Simcoe County Master Gardener, talking about "Houseplants". All are welcome to join in. Of course, it will be our first Flower Show of the year and members always show off their great garden beauties.
We are holding our annual plant sale June 3rd We will have lots of healthy local plants, shrubs and some indoor plants
Our June 20, 2023 meeting will be transformed into a celebration! We will have a wonderful speaker, homemade strawberry desserts and a time of fellowship with our neighbouring Societies. Please join us!
