She co-authored the book Onions Skins and Peach Fuzz with Shirleyan English.  A Farmerette stamp was introduced for Remembrance Day in 2024 due to Bonnie's lobbying.  Note: Only Guelph Horticultural Society members are eligible to enter the Flower Shows.
