“Sustainable Garden Hacks” presented by Carly McDougall, owner of a store named Bounty from the Boonies in Uxbridge, and who signs her emails with Carly McDougall – Plant Whisperer + Purveyor of Whimsy + Homestead Foods Artisan + Owner, promises to delight. After a catastrophic mental health breakdown in 2014, Carly left her award-winning journalism career with the Toronto Star and Metroland to focus on recovery, and credits plants with helping to save her life.
