Presentation by Brian Pomfret, Bird Bander at Ruthven Park

Brian Pomfret is the Bander-in-Charge at Ruthven Park NHS. Having been exposed to bird banding at the tender age of 10, a career path was launched. Brian is a wildlife biologist focussed on studying bird and herpetile populations, and has banded birds in a number of different countries. While fame and fortune has been elusive, he has developed a true understanding of sleep deprivation and an appreciation of the biting strength of many uncooperative birds.
