Join us on Thursday, March 21st for our first monthly meeting of 2024! The meeting is held at the Durham Town Hall, 185 George Street West, Durham, West Grey starting at 7 PM. Our guest speaker will be Jennifer Norman, shepherd & founder of EcoWool Canada, presenting on the potential of wool in today’s emerging circular economy. She will take us through some environmental issues around the modern wool industry and how waste wool can stop the devastating environmental impact of peat moss, one of the commonly used soil additives used today in horticulture. There will also be a lesson on starting geraniums from cuttings & seed. Social time will follow the meeting with light refreshments, coffee & tea.
