We will be holding our September General Meeting Tuesday, September 13 at 7 pm. We will meet at the Annex located at 1 Minerva Street East (beside the Huntsville Public Library). The meeting will have a speaker followed by the business portion of the meeting. We will not be serving refreshments at this meeting however the Green Elephant Table will be available.
Our speaker for the evening will be Cortney LeGros. Join us to learn how to harvest and save your vegetable seeds for next year’s planting. There will be a short presentation entitled Seed Saving 101 which will be followed by a hands-on workshop where you will gain experience with some common veggie seeds. Feel free to bring along your own plants and ask questions about saving and storing seeds for years to come!
Memberships will be available for purchase at the meeting.
Please remember that self-assessment continues to be an effective way to mitigate against spreading a virus, as does practicing good hand hygiene. Members and visitors should continue to screen for symptoms prior to meetings. Please do not attend any of our events if you are exhibiting any signs or symptoms of COVID -19. For the protection of our members, masks will be mandatory.
