Creating an Award-Winning Monarch Garden

Refreshments/Meet and Greet beginning at 7. Formal meeting and presentation at 7:30 pmCharlie Briggs has a degree in horticulture and is a certified arborist with the Royal Botanical Gardens. He is passionate about helping gardeners make the most of their outdoor spaces and better understand the changes we can make to promote a more responsible and sustainable form of gardening, He loves to explore our relationship with nature and how we can better understand and express it. Charlie assisted with the start-up of the Monarch Awards Program and has been visiting local gardeners to commend them on their dedication to modern gardening since the program’s commencement in 2016.
Join us! The non-member fee is $5.00 cheque, cash (dropped off) or bank e-transferred to fhs.treasurer@hotmail.com. Alert flamhort@hotmail.com once payment is completed or for other payment options. If you join for 3 speaker presentations, you automatically become a member and qualify for other benefits of our not-for-profit Society.
