CHS Youth Workshop: Fun with Backyard Composting

All CHS Youth members are welcome to attend this hands on free workshop – discover the important role compost plays in growing great plants! How to make it, what it does to the soil and why it’s important to your plants. Mary Beerman takes you through the steps to making compost in her own backyard composting area. Bring your garden journals and have fun learning all things compost!
All part of the summer growing challenge – “Small Gardens: BIG Changes” with over $400 in prize money to the top winning gardens.
