CHS May Meeting & Flower Show: TREES-Care & Maintenance
May 27 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Learn from experts in their field – Arborists Katrina VanOsch-Saxon and Brian Saxon will lead this presentation on TREES: Care & Maintenance.
Katrina is the Coordinator of the Forestry Technician Program at Fleming College and teaches across the Forestry cluster of programs. She holds a BSc from the University of Guelph and is a Certified Arborist. She takes an ecosystem approach to teaching, helping students build connections with trees, each other, and the environment around them. Brian is the Coordinator of the Arboriculture program, is a Utility Arborist and Forestry Technician. He is passionate about the tree care industry and is dedicated to preparing students to be stewards of urban trees.
Come out and enjoy this informative presentation as they explore how to care for trees, trimming, disease issues and more. Bring your questions and get the answers from experts!
