Smiths Falls Horticultural Society “Beginner to Winner” Design Workshop #1 please note … the available 10 slots have been filled

This is the first in a series of 3 workshops designed to turn members from “beginners” to “winners” in floral design.
This first workshop will be led by Cindy Zorgel — coming to us from the Almonte Horticultural Society — and visited with us previously doing the arrangements at our Christmas AGM. They were so beautiful. We will learn a LOT.
Brief bio …
Cindy Zorgel joined the Almonte Horticultural Society in 1992 and this year will be her 31st year on the board.
She was the recipient of the OHA Award of Merit in 2022.
She is an amazing floral artist and was the floral designer at the flower shop in Almonte. She took courses in floral design at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton and was an OHA Judge, judging some top level shows.
Further, she is wonderful teacher, sharing all her skills, talents and experiences to encourage people to enter shows.
And yes, you have to be a member of our society to participate — but easily remedied if you are not — if you join our society, you will be able to participate in the next two workshops — and any other workshops to come.
Will those who have signed up please bring a shallow dish for your design.
Cost of flowers is being covered by our society.
