“Adding Another Layer to the Garden: Bringing in Bees and Insects with Native Plants ” with Brenda Near

In this presentation Brenda will discuss how she created her own native plant prairie garden and show the fascinating bees and some other insects she has learned about since planting native plants. She will explore in some detail the characteristics and life cycles of several native bee species and discuss gardening practices that can help support these important creatures.
