Greater Windsor HS holds its plant sale at the Windsor Downtown Farmer's Market each spring. This exposes us to a wider audience, such as members of the public who are there to purchase produce, locally made goods and services. They can also purchase our plants, ask questions about them and find out more about our Society. One of our members, Leo Silvestri, is known as the Monarch Man and provides free milkweed seeds and information each year. We have gained new members from our participation in this event.
Our newest fundraiser involves tulip bulbs. We rescue tulip bulbs from the city of Windsor, sort and organize them, then provide them to our members for a donation.

Our Society worked with Hiatus House, a shelter for women and children, to deliver a Healing Garden on their property. There was lots of planning and planting by our members to create the beautiful space, which features native plants and engraved boulders.
We distributed lots of printed brochures, postcards and plant advice at the City of Windsor's own plant sale. It was a great way to promote our Society.
Our members enjoyed an exclusive guided tour of the city greenhouses.
We continue to distribute bi-monthly newsletters to our members.
