Greater Windsor Horticultural Society

We are The Greater Windsor Horticultural Society (GWHS). Our purpose is to promote gardening in our community. We invite all gardeners, novice and experienced, to join our Facebook group and come to our meetings. General Meetings are held the second Thursday evening of each month (Sept through December and February through July).
Meetings are held at our NEW Location - Our Lady of Guadalupe church, 834 Raymo Road at Wyandotte St. East in Windsor.
Doors open at 6:30 pm; meeting starts promptly at 7:00 pm.
Each meeting has an interesting speaker or workshop for your enjoyment. Baked goods are provided by volunteers each month and coffee. tea or other drinks are available.
From its beginning in 1952, the Greater Windsor Horticultural Society has been involved with community projects like the Windsor Community Museum Francois Baby House Garden, cleaning up of the Gardens at the Hiatus House and creating a new pollinator garden at Mitchell Park. We also support the St. Clair College Bursary Program by providing an annual bursary to a deserving student in the horticultural program.
