WELCOME TO SOUTHPORT HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY!
The Southport Horticultural Society (a not-for-profit organization) has been part of the Saugeen Shores community since the 1970’s with members ranging from beginner to Master Gardeners.
We promote a love of gardening by:
* Holding monthly meetings from April until November that are social with informative and
dynamic guest speakers.
* “Member-only” special events throughout the year.
* Holding an annual plant sale in May, which is our major fundraiser.
* Maintaining several public gardens in the area thanks to dedicated volunteers.
* Awarding at least one annual bursary to a graduating Saugeen District Secondary School student to
help further their education in the horticultural field.
If you enjoy getting together with other gardeners, love plants and gardening and want to learn and share ideas, please consider joining us. New members are always welcome!

Generally we meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month from April to November. Doors open at 6:00 pm for social hour. Presentations begin at 7:00 pm.
All are welcome - both new and experienced gardeners! Membership provides discount at select garden centers.
