Since 1900, our Society has been beautifying the community and enriching members in all things horticultural. We invite you to become involved by either volunteering in our many programs or by attending our excellent speakers. For a full list of our speakers, please check below.
We welcome volunteers to assist with our flowerbeds in and around Elmira, Floradale, and Breslau. Our Scholarship Fund for Woolwich students is awarded to youth pursuing university or college studies in horticultural or agricultural fields.

Unless otherwise stated, Education Meetings (Speakers) are held the 3rd Monday of the month, from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church in Elmira (Wyatt St. entrance). Our next AGM will be held Monday January 19, 2026 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 469 Elmira, 11 First St. E., Elmira.
Non-members are always welcome to any of our speakers (cost: free-will donation).

With your membership, you are eligible for numerous discounts in our area. In addition to numerous retail stores and florists, the long list includes local greenhouses and nurseries (i.e., Floristerra, John's Nursery, St. Jacobs Country Gardens, Shady Lane, WinterRose Greenhouses) which offer 10% - 15% discounts.
Amateur or expert gardeners of all ages welcome! There is always room for a new member!
