Coboconk Garden Club (Horticultural Society)

Re-established in 1984, we are a group of local citizens who volunteer our time to help beautify the town through planting and maintenance of gardens and planters around Coboconk.
Our society flower is the Zinnia.
Monthly meetings from March to November have social/refreshment time as well as a speaker or workshop/activity that keeps all members entertained. Speakers range from flower to vegetable gardening, bees/pollinators, the environment, handy tips for all and the list goes on.
We also enjoy "Weedy Wednesday" where members combine their efforts to do a 2-3 hour cleanup and/or planting in one of the 9 gardens around town that the society maintains.

Our meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month from March to November.
Socializing and refreshments from 6:30 to 7:00 pm with our meeting and speaker or activity starting at 7:00 pm.
