About Us
The society was organized in 1984 by a small group of citizens interested in the beautification of the village. The objectives of the society are to encourage an interest in horticulture and the cultivation of home gardens and vacant lots. To promote and assist in carrying out plans for civic improvement and beautification.
To interest juveniles and others in the study of horticulture by holding of contests and competitions and by such means it may be considered effective and to promote conservation.
