Our society was established in 1997. The focus of our meetings is on promoting good Horticultural practices through speakers, displays or hands-on activities. We participate in various community events to help raise awareness of the importance of Horticulture in the community.
We work with the local municipal council with the goal of giving our community a positive review.
We offer an annual bursary to a post secondary student going into the field of Horticulture, Agriculture or Floriculture.
Every year we enter a display in the local Wallacetown Fair and sponsor a Horticultural related contest open to the public with categories for youth as well as adults.
