Sarnia Horticultural Society

The purpose of a Horticultural Society is to increase interest in horticulture by encouraging private and public gardening, and by holding meetings, exhibits, plant sales and field trips.
The College Avenue garden, at 231 N. College, was gifted to the Sarnia Horticultural Society by local philanthropist Maud Hanna. It was declared to be an historic site under the Ontario Heritage Act in April 2000.

The Sarnia Horticultural Society meetings take place on the third Wednesday of the month- January to May and September to November at 7 pm
Our monthly meetings feature Q&A, guest speaker, refreshments, 50/50 draw and door prizes.
Membership cards offer discounts at several greenhouses and nurseries : Canadale Nurseries, Canadian Tire, Country Lane Greehnouses, Masfrankc Garden Centre, Sipkens Nurseries, Lakewood Garden Centre, Westland Nurseries and Windover Nurseries.
