Collingwood Garden Club/ Horticultural Society
District 16
The Collingwood Garden Club/Horticulture Society has been operating in the Town of Collingwood on and off since 1882. More recently, we have been active since 1972. The Club, with its +100 friendly members, meets monthly (with some exceptions) on the second Wednesday of the month with interesting speakers or activities. At the present time, the Collingwood Garden Club maintains, improves and looks after memorial tree and shrub dedications in the the 5-acre Collingwood Arboretum (brochure and map below in the Document Library), undertakes gardening at Breaking Down Barriers in Collingwood and undertakes special projects in the Town. To support our work in the Arboretum and the Community the Collingwood Horticultural Society/Garden Club is a not-for-profit Corporation and a Registered Charity.
Our yearly membership fee is $20 single or $30 for a family. A copy of our downloadable membership information for can be found on our new website collingwoodgardenclub.ca or below under documents.
Please join us at one of our monthly meetings (our meeting schedule is displayed on our website, Facebook and Instragram page) with dynamic speakers or in the Arboretum during our weekly Arboretum gardening sessions. If you have any questions, please contact us through our email . We love to talk gardens and gardening!
