Sprucedale & District Horticultural Society

District 18

About Us

Welcome to the Sprucedale & District Horticultural Society. We were founded in 1987, thanks to Delores and Lauren Dunn, Bonnie Robinson and Cathy Hall who got the ball rolling all those years ago.

Our Society’s mandate is to promote interest in horticulture by encouraging the planting of trees, shrubs & flowers on public and private grounds.

As well, Society members enjoy a wealth of information from guest speakers, along with field trips, flower shows and garden tours.

Throughout its history, Society members have hosted numerous flower shows throughout the area, and participated in community events.

We welcome visitors to attend one of our informational meetings and become a member of our society.
