District 6
🌳 Waterford & District Horticultural Society — Cultivating Beauty Since 1957
Founded in the heart of District 6, the Waterford & District Horticultural Society is a thriving community of energetic gardeners who share a passion for growth — both in our gardens and the community. With the majestic Tulip Tree as our floral emblem, we celebrate the strength, elegance, and deep-rooted heritage of Ontario's native flora.
The Mission of the Waterford & District Horticultural Society (W&DHS) is to encourage interest and involvement in horticulture through civic improvement, preservation, exhibitions, the distribution of plant materials and regular instruction pertaining to the theory and practice of horticulture.
We welcome you to enjoy our seasonal programs including inspiring guest speakers, a flower show, vibrant plant sales, delightful bus trips, and our popular potluck nights. Whether you're a seasoned horticulturist or just planting your first seed, all are welcome to dig in and grow with us.
