About Us

Established in 1969, the Rideau Lakes Horticultural Society is a volunteer charitable organization. Our goal is to encourage interest and improvement in horticulture in our community. Over 56 years of continuous involvement in Rideau Lakes, Ontario!

Arrange field trips, contests, competitions and exhibitions related to horticulture and award prizes;

Distribute seeds, plants, bulbs, flowers, trees and shrubs;

RLHS is a thriving organization. Members plant and maintain municipal gardens and support all manner of horticultural activities in the community.

General Information:

Meetings are from March to November the 1st Thursday of the month unless there is a special event like a workshop or a bus trip. Please check our website for an updated yearly program of exciting talks and events.
Doors open at 6.45pm

Join Us!

Our yearly membership is $15 per person. Kids get free membership. Guest fee for speaker events is $5, which counts towards an annual membership.
