Alliston & District Horticultural Society

District 16

About Us

The Alliston & District Horticultural Society was established in 1925. We will be celebrating 100 Years in 2025!
Our Garden Club has had a rich history in the Alliston community and with the Simcoe County Master Gardeners. One of our past life time members, Ken Phipps, was instrumental in starting up the Master Gardener program in Simcoe County. The floral emblem of the ADHS is the Gloriosa Daisy, a member of the Rudbeckia family.

Our Garden Club encourages new members. To help with this endeavour, each member who brings a guest to a meeting will have his/her name entered into a draw that will take place at the end of the year, for a $50 gift card to a garden center. Plus, each new member who joins our garden club this year will have his/her name entered into this draw as well.
Members receive a 10% discount at some local garden centers. Come out and join!
